We are closing
After a long look at our past, our present and possible futures, we have decided to close Newcastle Parkour Gym indefinately. We will officially close our doors and begin the packdown process from Saturday 29th March 2025.
All memberships will be set to expire at the end of March and classes will continue to run as normal until then.
There are few words that can holistically describe how this makes us feel. Though this decision weighs heavy on our hearts, we are exremely proud. Proud of ourselves, proud of our staff, proud of our accomplishments within the company and of course, our students and their families. Memories have been made and will continue to be treasured long after we are gone.
Newcastle Parkour had always set out to bring a little more light into the world. To create strong and capable people. To share our knowledge and values. To forge a better path and provide a sancuatry of learning. Where we can be ourselves and explore our limits safely.
This will never really go away. We poured so much of ourselves into what we do that little peices will stay with our students for the rest of their lives. One of the best parts about this sport, this discipline of parkour, is that you can do it anywhere. Most of our students don't need us to train and that has always been a measurement of success in our mission.
So it is finally time to close this chapter and begin a new one. However....
We start together, we finish together!
We will be hosting a final celebration of all we have accomplished and shared together over the years on Saturday, 22nd March 2025.

From Alex
It has been a hell of a ride. I am deeply, deeply grateful for all of the trust and love I have recieved in support of my dreams. I will always treasure the experiences I got to share with families over the years.
None so supportive or loving as my wife Sarah, who has contributed to the vision and our work in ways most do not see. We both sacrificed a lot to come this far and though the journey has been far from easy, it was all worth while. So thank you for everything. I have immense love for all of you.
From Zak I am full of emotions. I have never felt more full of purpose and pride than looking at the work we have done here together. I was the one to make the final call on our plans going forward and I believe this is the best decision. Some of our parents may already know this, but I actually have no passion for parkour as a sport. My primary drive was to mentor and grow our students.
When Alex first introduced me to parkour classes 4 years ago I was blown away at how beneficial it was for kids to learn. I am so grateful to my best friend for giving me the opportunity to serve you all. It has been one of the best experiences of my life.
Yes I am that guy that will give you a Winnie the Pooh quote:
"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."
In closing
We are still open until the end of March and we hope to see you at the party! We will not stop providing the best learning and experience we can until then.

Thank you. Thank you. Thankyou.
Zak Managing Director Newcastle Parkour
You both gave this everything! Thank you so much for letting our paths cross. Onwards and upwards in your next adventures. Thank you. 🩵
